The gallery will be exhibiting at the third AKAA which will take place at the Carreau du Temple in Paris from 9-11 November. The art fair is continuing to grow with no fewer than 49 exhibitors this year.
Angalia will be showcasing a selection of works by Amani Bodo, Francis Mampuya, JP Mika, Kura Shomali and Freddy Tsimba. The works depict the kaleidoscope of joys and difficulties of Congolese life: violence and oppression, a yearning for the good times, extravagance, hope and irony.
Collector’s preview and opening reception on Thursday 8 November (invitation only).
